Our new office is located at 524 Moss Street on the Bayou Saint John in "Mid-city" New Orleans. The facility offers comprehensive,
state-of-the-art ophthalmic medicine and surgery. Cataract surgery is done with phacoemulsification and lens implants, current with
human ophthalmology. Anesthetic and monitoring equipment for our geriatric patients is also state-of-the-art
with electrocardiogram and pulse oximetry. Retinal evaluation is done with
10 MHz ultrasound and electroretinogram. Laser surgery for glaucoma,
secondary cataracts, and retinal detachment is available. The Eye Center for Animals was the second practice in the nation to offer endoscopic intraocular lasering for advanced treatment of glaucoma, intraocular tumors and retinal disease. We are the first veterinary ophthalmology practice to have both diode and argon lasers for optimal retinal lasering.
